During this course one of our instructors will guide you one on one during the 5 training dives in the specialty areas that you are interested in. You can chose to start your Advanced Open Water course through PADI© eLearning and complete your dive training here with us in sunny Cabo San Lucas.

All student divers enrolling in the PADI Advanced course are required to fill out the PADI Medical Statement. Please download and print out a copy. If you answer YES to any of the conditions you will need to see your doctor for clearance before we can begin your scuba training.

There are two required specialty dives, Deep and Underwater Navigation. You can then chose 3 more from, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night, Underwater Photo, Drift, Naturalist, Fish ID and more.

You can experience famous local dive sites like ‘Sand Falls’ down at 90 feet/27 meters where the reef channels the sand into an underwater sand fall or explore the many nooks and crannies of Pelican Rock during a night dive looking for octopus, crabs, eels and lobsters.

This certification allows you to dive worldwide to a maximum depth of  100 feet/30 meters without professional supervision. This course is regularly scheduled over 2 days or you can complete it in 1 day if you are already a certified PADI Adventure Diver.

The Barefoot Dive Pro instructor team are all PADI Specialty Instructors in the areas of diving you may chose to try during the Advanced Course. If you enjoy a certain dive during your course we can arrange for further instruction, experience and the full specialty certification for you.

During our courses many students really enjoy the excitement of deep diving, if that is you, we recommend taking your training to the next level with the PADI Deep Diver Specialty. Complete your Advanced Open Water here in Cabo and follow it up with the Deep Diver Specialty extending you depth rating to 130 feet/40 meters.
