Sunshine Dive and Charter Boats, Cabo San Lucas
Sunshine Dive Shop owns and runs three charter boats for group diving tours, PADI dive courses and for offshore diving adventures to the oceanic seamount of Gordo Banks. All boats are located in the Cabo San Lucas Marina, directly behind the dive shop, for ease of loading and departures. If you will be diving in the Marine Park trip times are typically 10-15 minutes dock to dive site, great news for our guests that sometimes get seasick. We may be the highest rated dive center in Cabo San Lucas, but we have maintained our small groups and ‘diver family’ orientation to what we do. There are other more business oriented dive shops in Cabo San Lucas, we prefer a more personalized approach. Sunshine Dive and Charter Boats
As we are the local leaders in PADI professional dive training you can be assured that we don’t cut corners on dive boat safety, preparation or operations. All three of the scuba shops boats are licensed and captained by licensed captains. They all have proper ladders, cooler for snacks and beverages, GPS, radio and dry areas for your belongings.
Sunshine is the newest addition to the fleet of dive boats. Aptly named for the abundant sunshine that Cabo San Lucas enjoys more than 350 days a year, she is 44 feet long with a 12 foot beam and comfortably hosts up to 16 divers with our Divemasters. An excellent dive boat for trips in the local area and along the Corridor, she has an on board marine toilet, large sun deck for guests and snorkelers, a camera rinse tank and dry storage area.
Diversion is our mid sized dive boat, well suited for groups up to 10 divers plus PADI Pro Staff. At 30 feet long with a 10 foot beam, Diversion is a fast boat and great for trips to Gordo Banks or the sites further along the Los Cabos coastline. She has lots of shaded area from the sun, a large cool box and a dry area.
Pacifica is our light and fast dive boat at 26 feet length and a 9 foot beam. She is great for small groups and our PADI dive courses, or even small groups that want a private charter. She comes equipped with a full length canvas roof, cool box and a dry area, suitable for up to 8 divers and 2 guides.
