You can now earn your PADI NITROX certification with the experienced dive instructor staff of Barefoot Dive Pro in Los Cabos, Mexico. Diving with enriched air has become a main stream activity in recreational diving due to the added benefits it offers, the ease of dive computers and training to use NITROX.

The new PADI training program for NITROX divers is largely © eLearning based for knowledge development. You can sign up and begin at any time, learning about the benefits, rules and hazards of diving with a higher content of oxygen in your cylinder. If you chose to enroll in the online training with PADI, your course fee with Barefoot is reduced, and you pay only the normal rate for two dives ($85) and for the PADI certification fee of $30.

There are also no longer any dive tables to learn, instead we will introduce you to diving with a computer, or how to set your computer for the mixture of gases in your tank. This is a logical step forward as the majority of divers now use a computer to plan and execute their dive plan.

Before your dive we will have a ‘Quick Quiz’ to revisit key information from your dive theory modules. Then one of our instructors will show you how to analyze, mark your cylinders and plan a safe and fun dive to really experience the benefits of diving with Enriched Air.
