At Barefoot Dive Pro all Divemasters in training are mentored on a one to one ratio. This is very important to your development of knowledge, skills and your level of experience. There are far more business oriented, huge diving centers and large programs out there, we prefer a more personalized, individual approach.

The DM internship develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. With Barefoot you will assist on PADI Discover Scuba Diving, the PADI Open Water Diver Course and continuing education programs as well.

• Our DM Curriculum

  We offer Divemaster Internships because we feel that working in the real environment, learning on the job with a strong one to one mentor guiding you, and getting experience that only time can provide is the best way to ensure you a strong foundation to your ‘Go Pro’ career.

  We treat each DMT as an individual, you become part of the team and you progress at your pace. You will be assisting our team of instructors as they conduct training programs with student divers. You can get experience working as a dive guide in the Cabo San Lucas Marine Protected Area, on Gordo Banks diving with the hammerheads, in Cabo Pulmo Marine Park and even on La Paz whale shark trips (some trips are seasonal, so please check with us).
