PADI SCUBA Diver Course, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
If you are not ready to commit to the full PADI Open Water Diver course, Barefoot Dive Pro’s experienced instructors can get you on your way with the PADI Scuba Diver Course. You will earn a lifetime certification with two limitations; maximum diving depth of 40 feet/12 meters and you must always dive with a professional.
If you prefer to save time on your vacation you can take advantage of PADI © eLearning and study the first three theory modules online before heading to Cabo. Once you know when you want to train, contact us with your preferred dates and once we have received your deposit we will email you an access code to begin the online program. In 2010 over 80% of SCUBA diver students chose to take advantage of the online training option.
Once you have completed the theory quick review with one of our instructors will take you to the confined open water site in a protected bay and practice the skills you learned about in the theory sessions (we may even be able to use the pool at your resort/hotel, please notify us ahead of time if you would prefer this option). You will really enjoy the attention of a private course and learning from the experienced staff of Barefoot Dive Pro makes skills practice fun and easy!
After completing the confined water/beach skills session we will go on two reef dives, what you really are here for. Enjoying the many fish that have grown to large size from the protection afforded by the Cabo San Lucas Marine Protected Area (MPA). During the dives you will tour the reefs with your instructor, getting used to being neutrally buoyant underwater and then practice the same skills you mastered in confined water.
That’s it – you will be certified as a PADI Scuba Diver! If you want to upgrade to the full Open Water Diver at any time, it takes about 1 and a 1/2 days more training.
